Controller
We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what rights you have, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

Data we collect
Enquiries
When you send an enquiry through the form on this site, we receive your name, email address and, if you give them, your phone number, business, budget, timeline and the details of your project. We use them only to reply and to prepare a possible project with you.
When you write to us directly, we process your email address and what you send, to answer you.
Server logs
When you visit, your browser sends technical data such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page and the time of access. Our host uses it to deliver the site and keep it secure. It is not linked to you.
Legal basis
We process personal data on these grounds under Article 6 GDPR:
Art. 6(1)(b) Contract
Answering an enquiry and preparing or carrying out a project with you.
Art. 6(1)(c) Legal obligation
Keeping records that German tax and commercial law require.
Art. 6(1)(f) Legitimate interests
Running a secure, fast website and answering messages you send us, where this does not override your rights.
Art. 6(1)(a) Consent
Anything else we would only do with your clear consent, which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future.
Services we use
These providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements. Where a provider is in the United States, transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU standard contractual clauses.
Vercel Inc., USA
Hosts this site and processes the server logs described above. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Supabase Inc., USA
Stores the enquiries sent through the form. See supabase.com/privacy.
Resend Inc., USA
Sends the confirmation email after an enquiry and our notification of it. See resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Adobe Fonts (Adobe Systems Software Ireland Ltd)
Delivers the typefaces on this site. Your browser loads them from Adobe's servers, which receive your IP address. Adobe Fonts sets no cookies. See adobe.com/privacy/policies/adobe-fonts.html.
Claude (Anthropic, PBC, USA)
We use Claude, an AI assistant, to help run our systems and handle enquiries. In that work it may process enquiry details on our behalf. See anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd)
We link to our Instagram profile. Nothing loads from Instagram until you follow the link. On Instagram, Meta processes your data under its own policy, which we do not control.
How long we keep it
Enquiries
Up to 6 months after our last exchange, unless the enquiry becomes a project.
Project and invoice records
Up to 10 years where German commercial or tax law requires it (§ 257 HGB, § 147 AO).
Server logs
Kept by our host for a short period for security, then deleted.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
Access
Get a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Rectification
Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
Erasure
Have your data deleted where there is no reason to keep it.
Restriction
Have processing limited in certain cases.
Portability
Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Objection
Object to processing based on legitimate interests, or to direct marketing.
Write to donovan@good2know.agency to use any of these. We reply within 30 days, as the law requires.
Complaints
If you think our processing of your data breaks the GDPR, you can complain to a supervisory authority. Ours is:

Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, loss or change. All traffic to this site is encrypted with TLS, and access to enquiry data is restricted to us. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we protect your data as well as we reasonably can.
